Us, too! | Global Issues Film Festival

The fast-paced film “Us, Too!” points its lens at educational disparities girls face around the world. Film makers Eleanor, Sonja and Belen show that nations stand to gain from educating women, who will contribute to the education of their own children and positively impact economies. The film won for Best Middle School Film at the 2011 Global Issues Film Festival (GIFF).

News Action is partnering with GIFF to showcase last year’s winners and to solicit excellent movie-making from students to be featured here and at this year’s film festival in May. The festival is open to all primary, middle and high school students from around the world. Winners will receive prizes.
